Twister's Story

Like a lot of dogs, our English Pointer named Twister simply could not be trusted to stay out of trouble when out of his kennel. He couldn’t even be trusted to stay home! He liked to go explore our neighbors’ property and make new friends with other dogs and animals. He was often an uninvited visitor at neighboring houses and we constantly worried about his safety as we live near a busy highway.

It was definitely time to install a fence---but which one? There were so many options at farm supply stores, discount chains stores and home improvement centers. Prices and materials varied greatly. I was concerned about how much time it would take to install a traditional fence. There just never seems to be enough time to complete big home improvement projects like these. Because Twister was a bit of an escape artist, I wondered if he might be able to dig under, hop over and wiggle through a traditional fence. I soon realized a hidden fence might be the best option for Twister.

In the last year, we got a new family member---a Black Lab puppy named Sammi. She quickly learned her boundaries with the hidden fence. Now we have two happy dogs!
